As an Asian American artist, I embedded the Asian technique into my artworks. I like to capture the unseen, revealing the unknown, and the mundane beauty in objects and places to the layers, lines, colors, patterns into my paintings like our old masters in the East and West.
I committed to creating paintings that will stand the test of time as compelling work of art, alive with the personality of both artist and subject. I dedicated to create the artwork have intrinsic value.
For my Portrait works, I take each portrait as an adventure , exploring the unique character and personal strength of my sitters. A love of people and a deep interest in the human experience is the key to my work. It is not only about how you look, I am interested to capture about who you are.
