Painting is uplifting and motivating. It positively affects other parts of my life – brings creativity to my day job as a local IT professional, heightens awareness of my surroundings, and energizes my relationships.
My paintings typically start with an initial design idea and rough sketch. I love using lots of texture and trendy colors. Regarding content, inspiration for my work comes from a variety of sources including photographs, magazines, and sketches from my mother when she was younger.
