Phyllis Boger
I must admit that I am totally involved in the WHOLE process of painting. I love stretching the canvas, opening the paints, or the smell of the wax when I am doing a batik, watching the dyes spread when they hit the surface of the material or experience the application of the paint controlled by my brush. I am always amazed by the results of putting all this together on a surface and ending up with an expression of art.
I have a BFA from Barat College, in Lake Forest, Il. An art education degree from the Art Institute of Chicago, and an MFA in painting from Western Connecticut
State University.
I have taught many workshops in the New England, South Carolina, and Tennessee and Italy.
