Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, his journey began with a comic book rack and a spark of curiosity. As a young collector, Peter fell in love with visual storytelling. Legends like Neil Adams, Thomas Yeates, Jim Steranko, Thomas P. Gill, and Kurt Schaffenberger showed him how powerful black and white illustration could be, and their work lighted the path he still follows today.
With a pencil always in hand, Peter spent his childhood creating original characters, supported every step of the way by my parents. His father, especially, nurtured his creativity and encouraged him to grow. That passion led Peter to study graphic design and print production in college and trade school, building the foundation for a career spanning more than 30 years.
As a professional artist, illustrator, and designer, I’ve brought characters to life across mainstream pop culture. Now retired from the daily grind, Peter continues to create as a freelance artist, along with gallery exhibitions—hoping to inspire others the way he was inspired.
