Like many artists my path to becoming a full-time artist was interrupted by a different career as an Entomologist. Still during this time, I continued learning and developing my art skills by being involved in the West Texas Watercolor Society. I was fortunate to be able to take workshops and study under Leo Smith, Tom Hill, Jo Taylor, Robert E. Wood, Christopher Shink, Don Andrews and Arne Westerman. The wealth of knowledge and instructions from these tremendous watercolorists has helped me in developing my own style and love of creating a work of art.

In 2019, I retired from my position as an entomologist and am now able to fully devote my time to my art work.

As you look at my paintings and drawings I hope you see and feel the story I want to convey.
