Through biomorphic and geometric visual language, Amy dismantlesand reconstructs the world around her, forging dynamic relationships between color and form. This process is fueled by a deep-seated need to explore beauty through opposition, is not about simplification. Rather, it’s about crafting new complexities that invite viewers to engage with each piece.
Her work is deeply tied to the duality of life and the tension that beauty often requires. The language of color and mark-making isused to reflect this duality, weaving compositions that alternate between rest and movement, peace and tension. Each element relies on its opposite to exist fully, creating an experience that invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and find, if they will allow, an explanation within themself.
