agnes gordon stark
Agnes Stark was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, and then received a scholarship to the University of Michigan for graduate work in theater. She studied ceramics at Louisiana State University and the Memphis College of Art. She has been actively working and running her studio in Memphis since 1970.
Agnes has been included in the list of living treasures in the Memphis Art Community sponsored by True Story Living Histories in Memphis, TN.
